Trendy Reception Seating: Delo Lindo’s L’orchestre Series
There’s a Kobe steak house near my home that we like to go to on birthdays and other special occasions. The food, of course, is delicious, and the presentation is very impressive and entertaining. I never knew there were so many tricks to be done with a spatula, but they made a believer out of me.
One reason this particular place is so popular is their awesome reception area. They don’t have plain old reception area seating shoved up against the walls like most restaurants. This place has snazzy groups of couches arranged in circular patterns around low tables. It’s great because groups are able to relax in the cushiony seats and still face each other as a group, rather than having to turn sideways like they would on reception benches.

The OS Banquette mixte L’orchestre by Delo Lindo reminds me of that type of seating. These seats are so cool, I can’t even pronounce their name. I love the shape and colors. They look like the kind of seat I wouldn’t want to get up from – not only because of the comfort, but because of the scenery. I think I’d become cooler just from sitting on them.
It looks like the three-seater with stools is a wonderful and versatile setup. The seats are pictured in lime green, and other pictures on the same page show shades of red and bright orange. The descriptive text says that these seats can even be upholstered in the buyer’s own fabric, so they really can go anywhere you want to put them.
I really want a set of my very own, but the rest of my furniture couldn’t stand a chance against these lovely seats, so I should probably restrain myself. But guests of any restaurant would enjoy these. Have you ever seen diners actually hesitate to get up when their table was ready? I’ve seen it at Kobe, and you’ll see it with the L’orchestre.
